My name is MARCO ROSSI, and I am an international tax lawyer specializing in comprehensive Italian, Italy-US, and E.U. international tax laws. I advise high-net-worth individuals, global families, internationally mobile entrepreneurs, and globally-minded investors on complex cross-border personal and family matters, inheritance, estate and trust planning, business transactions, and investments in Italy and the U.S. I also assist global companies with tax advice on cross-border issues arising under Italian and U.S. tax laws and entrepreneurs on the effective tax management and execution of their investments throughout the start-up, growing and exit stages.
I establish integrated relationships or legal + accounting relationships with clients, providing a consolidated, efficient, and singular point of counsel and accountability, with a proactive approach to near and long-term planning and generational transition, carefully tailored and sophisticated advice, continuing legal and tax comprehensive support and oversight, and efficient management of clients’ complex projects, personal and business alike.
I operate across Italy and the U.S., with office bases in Los Angeles, New York, and Miami in the U.S. and Genoa and Milan in Italy.
My law firm, Marco Q. Rossi & Associati, is a boutique international tax practice that caters to a diverse clientele. We serve individuals, private companies, institutional clients, and investing firms involved in international transactions with connections to or ramifications in Italy, the E.U., and the U.S.A.
On December 19, 2008, I launched the EU AND ITALIAN INTERNATIONAL TAX LAW BLOG, which provides up-to-date information and comments on the latest developments in EU tax law and Italian international taxation for foreign investors in Italy and the EU.
The blog includes news on E.U. tax legislation and the most recent decision of the European Court of Justice in the area of direct taxes, which profoundly affect the way in which EU member states enact and administer their tax systems and investors plan their investments and business throughout the EU. It also reports on developments in Italian international tax law in the areas of income tax, VAT, and other indirect taxes that affect foreign individuals or companies investing or doing business in Italy.
I will work to ensure that the blog is the primary resource for foreign individuals, companies, law firms, tax counsels, CFOs, and tax executives interested in staying up to date with the latest developments in EU tax law and Italian international taxation affecting their investments or clients.
The blog will also be a forum for discussion on EU and Italian tax issues that interest clients, colleagues and friends in the field, and your comments, inquiries, and feedback will be greatly appreciated and helpful to constantly improve it.
I look forward to speaking with you in the future.
